Everyday I receive many direct messages asking about Non-Surgical Nose Jobs and how they work. Moreover, many are confused when it comes to the entire procedure altogether. I sit down to answer some basic Non-Surgical Nose Job questions on Instagram.
Q: What’s a Non-Surgical Nose Job?
A: “So, I think when people talk about non-surgical Rhinoplasty, they’re basically talking about fillers. Essentially, the fillers are good for two things: One is to build up a really low bridge, or a flat tip— You can build up your bridge and your tip a little bit so that you get more definition. The other time that I think filler works well is if you have a dorsal hump and you want to camouflage it. So, essentially, what you can do is fill above the hump and fill below so that your profile looks straight without actually doing anything to the hump.“
Q: What filler do you use on the nose?
A: “The only filler I use for nose would be Restylane Lyft and the reason why is it’s more of a structural filler rather than, kind of a volumizing filler. So, it’s a little firmer than the other fillers, but it’s good because what you’re trying to mimic in the nose is bone. So you want something that’s a little bit firmer, that will hold it’s shape, and that doesn’t get too hydrated— meaning that, it doesn’t absorb too much water because you don’t want your nose to look really full, you just want definition and more projection.”
