Why She Chose a DCF Rhinoplasty
This patient of mine chose to get an Asian DCF Rhinoplasty to address her short nose by improving her bridge and creating more tip refinement.
Although this procedure is not specific to one ethnicity, a DCF Rhinoplasty surgery is quite popular with many of my Asian patients. It is short for Diced cartilage with deep temporalis fascia (DC-F). Read more about it in this article, What Is A DCF Rhinoplasty?

About This Case On Realself
18-24 year old woman treated with:
- DCF Rhinoplasty. Patient with very short nose appearance. The nasal bridge was augmented with a DCF graft and the nasal tip was derotated to improve the short nose appearance. The nasal tip projection was also increased to provide more tip refinement and definition.
