Dr. Kwon Discusses Scarless Breast Augmentation With VietFace TV

Dr. Edwin Kwon recently appeared on VietFace TV which aired On February 9th, 2023. He discusses some of the benefits to Endoscopic “Scarless” Breast Augmentation vs. the Traditional method:

“A less-common technique, that I think I do that’s much better is putting the implant through the underarm. So, there’s several advantages to doing that. The one problem with putting the implant through the fold [Traditional method] is the scar could be very visible. If you have very little breast tissue to start with— then, it’s very hard to hide it even when the breasts become larger with an implant— So what we do instead is put it through the underarms. “

This unique procedure is a bit different from your traditional Breast Augmentation surgery. In short, an Endoscopic or “Scarless” Breast Augmentation’s incision(s) are made alongside the armpit’s natural creases which leaves the patient with very minimal to nearly invisible scarring.

These scars become virtually undetectable, which is a look that a lot of patients desire. See scar examples here.
