This patient, wanting to address her concerns with her history of difficulty breathing, underwent a Septoplasty and more to repair these issues. She also had a diced cartilage fascia procedure with me (or DCF Rhinoplasty) for bridge definition + tip refinement for more natural nose results. About This Case On Realself
25-34 year old woman treated with:
- Functional Septorhinoplasty (Septoplasty) with DCF graft. Patient had a history of difficulty breathing through her nose due to several combine issues. She had a leftward deviated septum, turbinate hypertrophy, and internal nasal valve stenosis. She also wanted to address her flat nasal bridge and bulbous nasal tip while still maintaining a natural appearance. Patient underwent a septoplasty as well as repair of internal vestibular stenosis with placement of bilateral spreader grafts and turbinoplasty. Her nasal bridge was augmented utilizing a DCF graft to give her bridge more definition and establish dorsal aesthetic lines. The nasal tip was refined using multiple structure grafts to improve tip projection.
