Section 1.0 – General (Applies to MedSpa & Surgery)
1.1 – Scheduling And Consultation Policy
All consultations are free of charge, except for Buccal Fat Removal consultations.
Virtual consultations are available.
We have consultations with people from all over the world, so please keep in mind that all of our consultations are scheduled in PST (Pacific Standard Time).
Kindly give our staff 24-hour notice if you cannot make your appointment and need to reschedule. If you do not provide us with a 24-hour notice, your appointment will be considered a “no-show”.
$100.00 (USD) will be charged to your credit card should a second “no-show” occur.
COVID-19 Protocol (Updated 2023): For safety, we kindly ask everyone to monitor their temperature at home prior to coming into scheduled appointments. Masks are not required, but you are still welcome to wear one. Please note, however, that Dr. Kwon may ask you to remove your mask for consultation purposes and/or for facial procedures. Important: If you have a fever, cough or shortness of breath before heading into your appointment, we ask that you stay home and reschedule.
1.2 – Pricing Information
All pricing for surgical and non-surgical procedures are subject to change without notice.
We do not honor “hearsay” prices that were not officially approved by our admin department.
In order to provide the most accurate quote based on your needs, a consultation is required. Because each patient is unique, we do not give pricing over the phone or online for the majority of our procedures.
1.3 – Before And After Gallery
Our gallery (and many procedural pages) contains nudity and is not suitable for minors due to the graphic material.
By viewing Dr. Edwin Kwon’s online before and after gallery, you are agreeing that you are over 18+ or have parental consent.
Although our gallery shows real results from Dr. Kwon’s patients, it does not mean your results will be the same since every patient is different.
Patients in Dr. Kwon’s gallery have given consent for us to use their photos either censored and uncensored to help future patients with their decisions. If you believe your images have been used by mistake, please contact us immediately and we’ll gladly review your signed consent forms. Conversely, if you are happy with your results and would like to share your transformation with others, please let us know!
Section 2.0 – MedSpa
2.1 – Injectables Policy
Prior to any injection, our patients are required to read and sign consent forms related to that procedure.
After signing these consent forms, our patients are agreeing that they understand the treatment, its risks and our touch-up policies.
There is no guarantee that wrinkles and folds will be reduced completely after an initial injection treatment. Further touch-ups may be required to achieve desired results and the patient is responsible for additional costs.
Once a unit, syringe and/or vial is injected into a patient, there will be no refunds for the full price of that unit, syringe and/or vial.
Section 3.0 – Surgery
Edwin Kwon, MD, FACS (Board Certified Plastic Surgeon) will prepare a proposed treatment plan based upon your consultation.
All patients are required to undergo lab tests and submit results to email@example.com prior to surgery. Our Patient Care Coordinator will instruct you on what tests you need.
I understand that there will be a non-refundable fee for booking and scheduling this surgery ($1,000 Deposit), which is a part of the overall surgical fee.
Should you cancel your surgery without an approved medically acceptable reason, submitted in writing and acceptable to the practice, within 2 weeks of your scheduled surgery, this fee is forfeited. While this may appear to be a charge for services which were not provided, this fee is necessary to reserve time in the OR and in the practice, which are done when you schedule.
The remaining outstanding balance is to be paid in full 10 days prior to the date of surgery.
Fees may be paid in cash, cashier’s check, or major credit card. Credit card payments will be assessed an additional 3% processing fee, which is non-refundable.
